Tea Tree Oil is a clear to very pale brown hydrophobic essential oil.
Tea Tree Oil is a very strong antiseptic which
has also antifungal properties. It can be used
to disinfect wounds and it is an effective treatment for
fungal infections of the skin.
Tea Tree Oil does not cause a "burning pain" as opposed to alcohol or iodine based antiseptics
when applied on wounds. Especially children prefer for this reason Tea Tree Oil
over classic disinfectants.
Tea Tree Oil can only be used externally. It is toxic when swallowed.
Avoid contact with eyes. Tea tree oil may cause hearing loss when used in the ears.
